What is required
Passport bio page scan
RequiredA clear scan of the data page, with at least six months validity remaining and two blank pages.
Passport-style photograph
RequiredA recent portrait against a plain background, with no glasses and both ears visible.
Your intended port of entry
RequiredThe e-Visa names the port you will arrive at. Arriving somewhere else can mean being refused boarding, so check it against your actual booking.
A printed copy of the approved e-Visa
Worth havingCarried with you. Airlines routinely ask for it at check-in, and a phone screen is not always accepted.
What the authority charges
- e-Visa, single entry$25
- e-Visa, multiple entry$50
These go to Vietnam Immigration Department, not to us. We never add anything to a government fee.
Decision time: Around three to five working days. Apply at least a week ahead of travel.
What cannot be done for you
Nothing. There is no physical step on this route at all, and nobody needs to handle your passport.
